The clubhouse at Hallowes Golf club has the original Contemporary 17th century features which are displayed on the exterior features of the clubhouse.
There are also 17th century features on the inside of the contemporary building.
Although the interior is much altered, some of the rooms retain their moulded plasterwork ceilings, the first floor room in the central section, now the Ladies locker room, having a simple but elegant enriched design at the beam intersections. The attic in the eastern crossing also still has two upper cruck tresses in its roof construction.

Dress Code

The wearing of casual dress will be allowed throughout the Clubhouse at all times. However more formal dress, such as jackets and ties/dinner jackets etc will still be compulsory for certain specified functions which will be notified separately when the function is advertised.

Members and visitors may wear tailored shorts in the main bar during the summer period only (defined as the start and end of British summer time).

The Board of Directors do not intend to define ‘casual dress’, however, it is expected that all members will uphold the high standards required in a golf club of this stature.
