Hallowes Golf Club: Junior Section

At Hallowes Golf Club we realise that junior golfers (both boys and girls of all ages and abilities) are the future of the game. We are proud to offer a wide range of coaching programmes throughout the year to cater for junior needs.

The Golf Foundation’s popular Junior Golf Passport (JGP) offers a structured progressive schedule with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment for children aged 6-12 years. (www.juniorgolfpassport.org). Classes are divided into age and ability groups running through term time in 6-8 week blocks of sessions

As well as covering all aspects of the game of golf, the JGP considers the importance of encouraging personal skills such as friendship, honesty, sharing, effort, in awarding a weekly Life Skills medal to juniors.

Children and their families do not need to be members to participate in JGP.

Our Club organises regular Family Fun days to introduce interested parents and their children to try out various golf activities as well as having an opportunity to sample the excellent club house facilities.

Junior Golf Holiday Camps run throughout the school holidays.

As a Club we are totally committed to ensuring the welfare, safety and enjoyment of everyone of all ages and abilities on and off the course.

Our up to date Safeguarding information can be found in the Club Policies section of this website
