Conditions of Booking

General
Final player and meal requirements must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to visit. All meals booked at this time must be paid for.
All Green fees and catering fees must be paid to the Professional prior to commencement of play.

Play
The allocated tee times must be strictly adhered to.
Play will be from the yellow tees (gentlemen) and the red tees (ladies).

Individual competitions may only be played in 2 & 3 balls.
Betterball competitions may be played in 4’s but Texas Scrambles and similar formats are not allowed.

Handicaps & Etiquette
All members of the party must be conversant with the Rules of Golf and Course Etiquette.
The course is to be treated with due respect with players replacing divots, repairing pitch marks and raking bunkers etc.

Dress Rules

Clubhouse Dress Rules

The wearing of casual dress will be allowed throughout the Clubhouse at all times. However more formal dress, such as jackets and ties/dinner jackets etc will still be compulsory for certain specified functions which will be notified separately when the function is advertised.

Members and visitors may wear tailored shorts in the main bar during the summer period only (defined as the start and end of British summer time).

The Board of Directors do not intend to define ‘casual dress’, however, it is expected that all visitors will uphold the high standards required in a golf club of this stature.

Dress Rules on the Golf Course

Golf shoes must be worn. Shirts must be worn inside of trousers/shorts. Only properly tailored shorts are allowed, not boxer or football types with knee length stockings or short plain sports socks.


We reserve the right to cancel this Booking before or during the visit if these Conditions are not met.


Golf equipment is an ever more attractive target for opportunist thieves and we would ask that you take every precaution to protect yours.

The Club does not accept liability for loss of or damage to visitors’ property on Club premises.
