Kelly and Charlie come to Hallowes with a wealth of experience. They share a love for food, dining and football, but unfortunately they’re not quite on the same page with the latter! The pair met whilst working in a small restaurant on Ecclesall Road, and from there they set up a small B&B with a bar and restaurant, after three and half years they had achieved a Good Food Guide listing, a Michelin Listing and 2 Rosettes for fine food.
Still to this day, this is one of their proudest achievements.
Prior to joining Hallowes, Kelly and Charlie owned and ran a restaurant called Peppercorn- which you may already be familiar with. They look back on this time fondly, being extremely grateful for the friends that they made and the customers they had. Success seems to follow Kelly and Charlie, as one of their Peppercorn highlights would be winning Restaurant of the Year in Westside Magazine.
They want members to know that Hallowes can be a place for more than just a round of golf, it’s a place to bring friends and family for great food in a beautiful setting. Hallowes is more than just a golf club, it’s a home from home.
It’s difficult to pick out one specific dish, but if you enjoy some morning golf, do yourself a favour and get the Eggs Benedict beforehand. It’s something special. As well as amazing breakfasts, we offer lunches, afternoon teas and evening meals - all day dining at its best.
Kelly and Charlie will also be on hand to provide the catering for any functions and would love to see members make use of the club’s facilities for any birthday or anniversary events.
